I prepaid Game Stop (the full amount) for the Augmented Edition, back in January. I was told it would be released in March. Video game delays suck. :(Is there a release date for Deus Ex: Human Revolution yet?
i heard that it will be released in North America on August 23, 2011, But that could be wrong.

How did the Cultural Revolution in China cause Human Rights to be denied?
Im doing a Social Studies project on this and this is the one question I cant seem to answer!

The movement brought chaos, as social norms largely evaporated and the previously established political institutions disintegrated at all levels of government.
The Revolution was launched in May 1966. Mao alleged that bourgeois elements were entering the government and society at large, aiming to restore capitalism. He insisted that these "revisionists" be removed through violent class struggle. China's youth then responded to Mao's appeal by forming Red Guard groups around the country. The movement then spread into the military, urban workers, and the Communist Party leadership itself. It resulted in widespread factional struggles in all walks of life. In the top leadership, it led to a mass purge of senior officials who were accused of deviating from the socialist path, most notably Liu Shaoqi and Deng Xiaoping. During the same period Mao's personality cult grew to immense proportions.
Millions of Chinese died as a result of the Cultural Revolution. Estimates run from 3,000,000 to 30,000,000. The real number is probably somewhere between those two figures. How did the Cultural Revolution in China cause Human Rights to be denied?
The cultural revolution under Mao Zedong was not opposed, because those who did died or were imprisoned. When eastern Europe became free it inspired Chinese students to protest for human rights in 1989, the military was sent in to close off these protests in Tienanmen Square. China is modernized, but they will not allow any opposition to the government or discussion of human rights. After all they are by far the largest of the 5 remaining communist governments in the world.

Adam Jensen's character design from Deus Ex Human Revolution?
Do you think his character design is well thought out and fits with the theme of the game, or is it generic and overused? I personally think that Elias Toufexis's voice is unsuitable for the role. They should have hired someone whose voice is similar to the Japanese voice actor of Snake from Metal Gear Solid.Adam Jensen's character design from Deus Ex Human Revolution?

In Deus Ex: Human Revolution, can I use the target-seeking and laser-sight mods simultaneously?
Before I sink upgrades into my weapon of choice, I'm wondering if installing the laser sight will ruin my chances with the Target-Seeking system. I've not been able to find much info on how it works, for the want to isolate myself from spoilers, but I'm aware the target-seeking system uses the reticle, which disappears when the laser is activated. Can I use both on my Combat Rifle without issues, or does the Laser impede the function of the target-seeking system? In Deus Ex: Human Revolution, can I use the target-seeking and laser-sight mods simultaneously?
yes. i used basically every upgrade for my combat rifle and they all work in synch. however you have to manually turn on target seeking once you uprgade.

How did the Neolithic Revolution change the human way of life?
the neolithic revolution began when people discovered agriculture. Because of agriculture people could now farm instead of hunting and gathering. This allowed people to settle down and live in one place. This led to settlements and the development of group living. Since people after the neolithic rev began living in tighter more complex social situations this also led to better and more complicated forms of communication. The neolithic rev also eventually led to the development of governments because now that people were living in settlements they started dividing the work. They needed people to hunt, farm, cook, and do other things, and since not everyone could do the same thing they needed orginization to decide who would do what. This led to higher forms of orginization and ultimately to forms of government. Also with the discovery of agriculture people began to have food surpluses, this led to population growth and trade. It led to trade becasue people would now trade the extra food that they grew. Lastly the neolithic rev led to the switch from a matriarchal system to a more patriarchal system. In hunting and gathering times women were though higher of then men because they hunted and gathered just like the men did, and on top of that they also gave birth or created life. After the neolithic revolution there was no longer a need for the women to hunt and gather. A family could live off of the males work in the farm, because they then only needed one person to feed the family women fell into more homemaker roles and began to lose importance. Oh, and agriculture also led to recreational activity because less time was needed to get the necesary amount of food, so familys had free time, and they needed stuff to do.How did the Neolithic Revolution change the human way of life?

This is the story of a revolution. It's not as well known as the French Revolution, or the Industrial Revolution, or the Information Revolution. Neither did it take place quite so quickly. No records were kept, so there is still much we do not know about it. Even so, it stands alone as the greatest revolution in the history of mankind. Were it not for the Neolithic1 Revolution, society as we know it today would be vastly different, and none of these other revolutions mentioned would have ever taken place.
Hunter-gatherer life
For most of our time on Earth2, we humans lived as hunter-gatherers. Every day, groups of people would trap and kill wild animals, while others collected and prepared wild plants, nuts, fungi, and berries. If they were lucky and food was abundant, they were able to provide enough food for themselves and their children. If they were unlucky, they starved and died. In order to stay close to their food sources, hunter-gatherers needed to be mobile. They set up temporary camps, lived there for a while, and moved on when the food supply began to dwindle. For mobility, tribal units were small 鈥?just a few families, all of whom worked hard to keep themselves and their children alive. Because of the vagaries of weather, animal migrations, and the long seasons3, starvation was always just one step away. People had precious little time to do anything other than find food, warmth, and shelter for themselves and their families.4
The dawn of the Neolithic Age
Fourteen thousand years ago, at the end of the last Ice Age, a new lifestyle, known to archeologists as the Natufian culture, began to emerge in the Middle East. The Ice Age was coming to an end and temperatures were warming very quickly. Food became available in relative abundance for the first time in thousands of years. Instead of having to travel long distances to find food, some groups were able to live in the same place all year round. People started to build permanent dwellings. By 10,000 BC, the end of the Younger Dryas period, they were discovering that certain animals, such as goats, sheep, cattle and pigs, had temperaments and dispositions that made them easy to manage within close proximity to their dwellings. They selected and cultivated certain grasses, such as oats, wheat and barley, which provided nourishment to larger groups of people. These plants became common anywhere there was human settlement, eclipsing all other plant-food sources. They discovered how to store and preserve food over the harsh winter months. Thus, farming began and a new age, the Neolithic Age, was ushered in.
The Effects of the Neolithic Revolution
The move from a hunter-gatherer lifestyle to a sedentary farming lifestyle did not take place overnight. Neither was it unique to the Middle East: Latin America and China experienced totally independent Neolithic Revolutions at later periods in time. In fact, it can be argued that in the beginning, it was in many ways an inferior lifestyle to hunter-gathering, since settled people were easier targets for attack, their nutrition undoubtedly suffered due to lack of a balanced diet, and they were more likely to suffer diseases. However, by 7000 BC, it was the dominant occupation in the Middle East, and it was already taking hold in Southern Europe and Northern Africa. For those people affected, the change that had taken place was enormous. The changes were so profound they live on with us today.
Population Growth
The changes brought about by farming can be distilled into two key concepts - a sedentary lifestyle, and a food surplus.
In hunter-gatherer societies, women need a gap of at least three to four years between children, as multiple, highly dependent babies are incompatible with a mobile lifestyle. No such limitation existed when people lived in permanent settlements, and so it became possible for women to have children much more frequently. Additionally, as the techniques of plant cultivation and animal husbandry became more refined, it was possible to feed entire groups of people from relatively small numbers of food-sources, and still have food left over for storage during the winter months. People in agricultural communities were less subject to the whims of nature than hunter gatherers and thus had a higher chance of survival. Thus, a population explosion occurred, and over time villages, then towns, and eventually cities, took shape.

The most important technological development ever to occur in human history was the domestication of plants (agriculture) and animals (pastoralism). The NeolithicNeolithicNeolithic Revolution is the transformation of human societies from being hunter-gatherer based to agriculture based. This period, which occurred between 12,000 and 8,000 years ago, brought along many profound changes to human society and culture, including the creation of cities and permanent dwellings, labor specialization, the baking of bread and brewing of beer, personal property, more complex hierarchical social structures, non-agricultural crafts, slavery, the state, official marriage, personal inheritance, and more. The term "Neolithic revolution" refers both to the period of time when it occurred as well as the enduring changes it caused.
Tens of thousands of years ago, there were no crops: only the primitive ancestors of the plants we recognize as being edible. After hundreds or thousands of generations of purposeful and accidental selection by human farmers, who would destroy or confiscate the seeds of plants with undesirable qualities, we domesticated strains optimized for maximum nutrition and largest yield. The so-called "NeolithicNeolithicNeolithic founder cops" include emmer, einkorn, barley, lentil, pea, chickpea, bitter vetch, and flax. These are all new species created by human intervention into wild ancestor species.
The use of fields for crop-growing and granaries for the storage of food simplify this whole nutrition endeavor for humans, allowing for non-farming occupations in society. Trade and barter systems emerged, as well as informal currencies. Farmers could be paid for supplying others with food. Soldiers could be trained and armies raised. The creation of personal goods and food stores meant that plundering from raiders became more common, necessitating a soldier class to protect the farmers. The NeolithicNeolithicNeolithic revolution was the first fundamental restructuring of human affairs seen in a couple hundred thousand years.
The NeolithicNeolithicNeolithic revolution first emerged in the Fertile Crescent, around present-day Iraq, which would also be the founding site of the world's first large cities, including Babylon. Mankind was most active and prosperous around the Near and Middle East at this time. Some of the oldest known human settlements were founded in Lebanon, Syria, and Turkey just a couple thousand years after the conclusion of the Neolithic revolution.

Should I get Deus Ex Human Revolution on PC or Xbox 360?
I'm planning on pre-ordering the game with the Tactical Enhancement Pack and I want to know if I should get it on PC or Xbox 360.Should I get Deus Ex Human Revolution on PC or Xbox 360?
i would say get the pc version, you can get better graphics, you don't have to pay for gold for it, and you can use a keyboard and mouse which is far better than a pad for shooters (unless your pc specs are quite low, then your 360 might actually be a better option)

Any help at all is appreciated. Thanks for reading and that goes double for posting.Deus Ex: Human Revolution DEP instant crash help?
I have this exact same problem so I went into my computers interface and directly turned off my DEP and it still won't start. My conclusion you ask? Go to Gamestop and pick up a copy for an Xbox 360 or PS3 console but other than that I have no solution.

Deus Ex Human Revolution Question?
Hi, I wanted to ask what happens once you beat Human Revolution, just go back and do things differently? If this matters, for PS3.Deus Ex Human Revolution Question?
Other than a few variations during the game the storyline doesn't change Until close to the end all the endings are found on the last level and it doesn't matter how you have played the game up-to that point
So playing the game again wont alter the game other than if you make a different choice (if you have the option) at the end
So if you desire to see the 4 main endings find the content that unlocks these in the final section save find the others and you will have them all to choose at the final decision :)
,Deus Ex Human Revolution Question?
if you want see all the endings trophy just load your last save and see the endings from there keep doing itDeus Ex Human Revolution Question?
if you mean start a new game with all augmentations enabled or what ever you got on the first run
the answer is a no start from scratch each time

no its a whole new story but the game isnt as good as the original.
Should I get Dead Space 2, Dead Island, or Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
I've been wanting Dead Space 2 for a while, Dead Island looks amazing, but so does Deus Ex. Which game should I get?Should I get Dead Space 2, Dead Island, or Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
I play Dead Space 1 and 2 you going to have some fan. You can watch the dead space the movie too 1 and 2.
price wise: dead space 2, very good ratings and i loved it...only 30 bucks on amazon
best game: Deus Ex, it has gotten very good ratings also its very original and unique, its more of a rpg with guns than a shooter...but still very good...its only 45 bucks on amazon
dead island also looks good, but i was expecting to be a little better, so far it also has good reviews and everyone says its a blast...
so if it was up to me, id get deus exShould I get Dead Space 2, Dead Island, or Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
Dead Space 2 is an amazing game. I'm going to write about its scary moments, cool kills, and how much I dig the main character's internal struggle, but Dead Space 2 is about more than this. When I beat it for the first time, I sat on the couch with my heart racing and dissected the journey I had just taken. Then, I started my second playthrough, and when that was done, I jumped into a new game for the third time. Dead Space 2 is just that good.
I would get Dead Space 2 (or if you have't played Dead Space get the original first). They are 2 amazing games and are in my favourites list. I think Dead Island might not be as good as everyone hopes it will be and probably won't be on my to buy list. Deus EX looks good, but I haven't got around to playing it yet. I would wait for a price drop for Deus EX and get DS 2 now.Should I get Dead Space 2, Dead Island, or Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
Dead Island! For sure.
personaly, i think dead island will be the best out of all of these.
None. Get Skyrim lot better.gas mileage calculator ameren missouri

In Deus Ex: Human Revolution, need help on side quest?
I'm doing a side quest where I need to meet a corrupt cop in an alleyway, but the only two entrances to the alley are blocked, one by chain link fence and the other by electrified water. Does anyone know how to get past the fence, or the water, or a different route into the alley? Thanks in advance. In Deus Ex: Human Revolution, need help on side quest?
You can enter the alleyway from the sewer around the corner or by going through the police station if you managed to get access. In Deus Ex: Human Revolution, need help on side quest?
For the fence, you could use a Praxis point or 2 to get this leg augmentation that allows you just 9 feet in the air, or try to look for a vent somewhere.

Who were the traditional authorities on human anatomy before the Scientific Revolution?
The chapter i am doing is on the Scientific Revolution.Who were the traditional authorities on human anatomy before the Scientific Revolution?
The traditional thoughts on anatomy were derived from none other than Aristotle, a Greek philosopher. There wasn't a change in what people thought until the Scientific Revolution.
Once people like DaVinci were able to get more accurate sketches of anatomy and were able to view the heart and other organs of animals and realize the similarities, changes came fast and furious.
As an added note, barbers were the ones you would go to when you were sick. And that was a dangerous track to take. The barber would bleed the person who was ill, taking a cup of blood. This was supposed to get rid of the evil in the patient (bad blood), but what it really did was weakened the person.

In 1602, William questioned the accepted beliefs of the time as proposed by Aristotle (4th Century B.C.) modified by Gallen (2nd Century A.D.) that the veins contain both blood and air and they are fed by the liver. He proposed that the dynamic of the blood flow was the heart and not the liver.Who were the traditional authorities on human anatomy before the Scientific Revolution?
I persoanally believe it to be Leonardo da Vinci, as was bold, deliberate, detailed, and accurate. His 200 Anatmotopical drawings, were the foundation and inspiration, that catipulted human design understanding, into the medical science we see today. Below is a cut and paste from the source (also listed).
Anatomy
Leonardo's formal training in the anatomy of the human body began with his apprenticeship to Andrea del Verrocchio, his teacher insisting that all his pupils learn anatomy. As an artist, he quickly became master of topographic anatomy, drawing many studies of muscles, tendons and other visible anatomical features.
Anatomical study of the arm, (c.1510)As a successful artist, he was given permission to dissect human corpses at the hospital Santa Maria Nuova in Florence and later at hospitals in Milan and Rome. From 1510 to 1511 he collaborated in his studies with the doctor Marcantonio della Torre and together they prepared a theoretical work on anatomy for which Leonardo made more than 200 drawings. It was published only in 1680 (161 years after his death) under the heading Treatise on painting.[17][42]
Leonardo drew many studies of the human skeleton and its parts, as well as muscles and sinews, the heart and vascular system, the sex organs, and other internal organs. He made one of the first scientific drawings of a fetus in utero.[42] As an artist, Leonardo closely observed and recorded the effects of age and of human emotion on the physiology, studying in particular the effects of rage. He also drew many models among those who had significant facial deformities or signs of illness.[42][17]
He also studied and drew the anatomy of many other animals as well. He dissected cows, birds, monkeys, bears, and frogs, comparing in his drawings their anatomical structure with that of humans. He also made a number of studies of horses.

Some historians consider the agricultural revolution to be the most important event in human history. ?
Can someone please help me with describing three advantages the agricultural revolution provided early humans? Thank you very much!!!Some historians consider the agricultural revolution to be the most important event in human history. ?
Well...think about it: where would we be if we didn't have agriculture?
People living before agriculture was introduced were nomadic.
1. People who were nomadic becamse sedentary
Okay, well now that they were sedentary, they could build houses, they made houses that would last a long time and have lots of space. They wanted to fill the houses with goods, right?
2. Crafts {pots, etc.}
At the same time, when agriculure prospers, what happens? Lots of food, right? So there was more food and more things to store food! And what happens when there are lots of food to eat? Increase in population!
3. Increase in population.
I hope my explanations made sense? Good luck :)

Is dues ex human revolution a free roam game or is it just like coda campaign ?
if you ever played deus ex invisble wars it is going to be like that
gives you a area to do main quest and side quest and that is your free roam
you will not be able to move from that area or come back to it once the main quest are completed for itIs dues ex human revolution a free roam game or is it just like coda campaign ?
The Deus Ex games aren't necessarily completely free roam. Each mission takes place in a fairly large area that you can explore to your heart's content, so in that way it is somewhat free roam, but it's not one continuous open world. There's constantly multiple ways to go about doing things, whether you want to go in guns blazing or take a stealthy approach, utilizing security systems or even stack boxes to climb onto roofs and through windows.ryan s steakhouse eye of the north

If this is possible it will be the greastest human revolution ever?
i am only 13 and i was watching a documentary about trees. Then i got like this idea of half of our body using oxygen and the other half will be using carbon dioxide. So i made a simple research about heart because it controls our respiration and i found out when we breath our heart actually divides the oxygen into 2 so i figured out if one half can only use oxygen and the other half will use carbon dixide. So i now this only a fiction but since i am only 13 and i am still in school so answer this if you want to.If this is possible it will be the greastest human revolution ever?
We couldn't use carbon dioxyde for anything. Trees use it to produce food. Now if you wanted to stand in a place, take water and minerals form the ground and heat from the sun, to use up the carbon dioxyde and produce food, then it's okay. But if you wanted to run around like everybody else, you couldn't afford using up your energy to break up carbon dioxyde, which would be useless as you don't need to produce food, you can eat from other helpless animals. This is just the way life works.
Our body dies from carbon dioxide if we keep it in out body. So your revolution would not work at all.If this is possible it will be the greastest human revolution ever?
The oxygen is not divided in 2, not as such. The left side of the heart pumps the oxygen-rich blood to all the body parts that need the blood, including the heart and lungs. This oxygen is required so that the cells don't die, and the oxygen is bound to the haemoglobin in the blood, so that it can be released when required.
The right side of the heart carries the oxygen-poor blood back to the lungs, where the blood is re-oxygenated and the waste carbon dioxide is released from the blood. Carbon dioxide is dissolved in the blood, and not bound to the haemoglobin, so it travels in a different fashion. Our body cells are unable to use carbon dioxide to keep them alive, because it is actually toxic to our cells in such quantities. That's why we get rid of it.
No, it's a lot more complicated than you think. If this is possible it will be the greastest human revolution ever?
The 2 primary byproducts of Aerobic Respiration and Combustion are water vapor and CO2:
Aerobic Respiration
C6H12O6 + 6 oxygen --%26gt; 6 CO2 + 6 H2O + energy (ATP)
Combustion
Propane C3H8 + 5 O2 --%26gt; 3 CO2 + 4 H2O
How is this useful? Well, it means that if we brought up a bunch of our furry friends (squirrels, gerbils, hamsters, weasels, lemurs, lorises, etc) to the Moon and Mars, we could build a rich and thick atmosphere since all mammals (humans included) produce 3 potent greenhouse gases: water vapor, carbon dioxide and methane gas. In other words, the more we EAT and the more ACTIVE we are, the more water vapor, CO2 and methane gas we add to a planet's atmosphere, 24/7. Build a Fischer Tropsch reactor to make all the cooking fuel you'll need, or just burn twigs, leaves, etc. Pretty soon it'll be raining and flooding on all the other moons and on Mars.
Petition your space agency to haul water and supplies to build restaurants and dynamos on other globes. Dynamos generate magnetic fields which block out cosmic rays. Space...a (g)astronomic experience.
no sorry. You are very ambitious but think about it, do you really think a kid would revolutionize the world? no. You need to look into cellular respiration and photsynthesis first. They use CO2 and produce O2. Humans cannot use CO2 as fuel, it simply does not work. We just die. Also, CO2 binds better to hemoglobin than O2 does so if we breathed just CO2, no oxygen would get to the cells for respiration in the mitochondria and therefore all of our cells would die because we had no energy. Humble down kid.
You've got a lot of misconceptions there, ...but at 13, it's OK.
1. We can't use CO2. It's waste that we have to get rid of or we die.
We're not plants. They're the ones that 'use' CO2, and then only
because they can use the energy of the sun to make food out of it.
2. I don't know what you can mean by "the heart divides the oxygen
into two". The heart pumps the blood, which carries the oxygen and CO2.
That's it. One side pumps the incoming veinous blood, (rich in CO2), to the lungs,
the other part pumps the outgoing, (re-oxygenated), blood out to the arteries.
It's just at the center of a closed system.

You should hold the button down to bring up a little radial menu, move the stick over one of the choices (most likely capture), and then release the button to do that choice.
Edit: Are you clicking on a point that is connected to one that you already have, and isn't on the wrong side of a one-way connection?I can't get the hacking to work on the first hack in deus ex human Revolution for ps3?
Basic tutorial in hacking.
The aim is to create a pathway from your entry point (which will be a highlighted sphere which you should start on) to a similar looking symbol in the web of files. Your entry point will already be taken in order to start so the next thing you need to so is locate where the end point is and what pathway you will take to get there.
After you know where you are going, your ready to start hacking. Hover the cursor over the link next to your start and hold square, then move your left thumbstick and hold it up to select the flag. Release the square button and you should get a percentage meter next to the symbol telling you how far it is to being taken. As soon as one link is taken move to the next and repeat till you get to the end point. Take the end point and the hack is complete.
It doesnt do a good job of explaining it in the tutorial video, dont worry a lot of people hit problems in what exactly they are supposed to do when hacking.I can't get the hacking to work on the first hack in deus ex human Revolution for ps3?

Is the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition bonus DVD actually a Blu-Ray disk?
I got the Augmented Edition on PS3 with bonus disk. However, the bonus disk works in none of my computers (none have a blu-ray drive) and my
DVD player cant seem to read it. I'm assuming then that it's a blu-ray disk. Is this correct, or is it just my bad luck?Is the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition bonus DVD actually a Blu-Ray disk?
I believe it is a blu-ray disk. Sorry about your situation though. That's pretty shitty. Is the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition bonus DVD actually a Blu-Ray disk?
That appears to be the case. I'm in the same situation, and I'm pissed. The packaging clearly states that it's a DVD, yet 3 different computers and DVD players all kicked it back as unreadable. My PS3 plays it just fine of course, but the soundtrack (the main reason why I got the Augmented Edition in the first place) has to be copied to a computer to be played, and I don't have access to a computer with a BD-ROM drive.
This on top of the fact that I got no unlock codes for the promotional extra mission or weapons from GameStop has been a real smudge against what's otherwise turning out to be a fantastic game.Is the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition bonus DVD actually a Blu-Ray disk?
Most likley. I think it contains some bonus content for the game! The Ps3 reads Blu-Ray discs so try it in your Ps3 and it will most likley work.
DVD player cant seem to read it. I'm assuming then that it's a blu-ray disk. Is this correct, or is it just my bad luck?Is the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition bonus DVD actually a Blu-Ray disk?

Deus ex human Revolution hostage situation?
so in one of the first REAL missions for deus ex human revolution im asked to handle a hostage situation so i played through the mission but i couldn't find where the hostages are. I need help cause i really want to find them do i have to go there lethal or non lethally. And if not where am i supposed to look. (i would like specifics)Deus ex human Revolution hostage situation?
Actually there are other hostages u can save in that mission:
first of all, before entering into the plant, u can see a number of SWAT police, ask the black guy ( the only one who u can see not wearing his helmet). Select for conversation allows u to get information on this mission, including where the hostages are. He will TELL you.
if that is still a problem, no worries!
Progress the mission as you would, until find a room where u can hear conversation between terrorists arguing about how to handle the dead body after killing one of the hostages (or police), As follows like this:
"no way i am gonna end up in jail because of this"
"he deserves it!"
"...find something to cover his body"
something like this....(sorry for bad memories, but i think that's enough since there is only 1 place in this mission where u can hear this kind of conversation.
That is the room where u find hostages.
Not sure if there is only 1 ways to enter the room (maybe more but i found 1), The door at the second floor.
There are 2 ways to save hostages:
1. Take every enemy down (lethal or non, your call), then go on the stairs which is in the OPPOSITE side of the room to where u head in, Second floor. Find the second floor where the hostages are, save them. (there are only 2 second floors, one is where u head in, hostages are on another.
2. Second way is a cheap shot, once u enter the room if u can manage to get downstairs without getting noticed, that's wonderful. then find your way to RIGHT HAND SIDE to where you are facing when you just got in. just under the stairs, there is a metal box move it then there is a secret path leads you straight to the hostage room. (for your information, during your time moving through secret path you will be sent to move across the top of a pipe ceiling, don't drop lol).
Either way once u get into that room, there is no way turning back, destroy the bomb is your only option. You can either destroy through explosives or hacking to shut it down, it is your call, BUT YOU ONLY HAVE AROUND 25 SECONDS AFTER YOU ENTER THE ROOM.
Note: if u chose explosives to destroy the gas bomb, punch the guy siting just next to the table, don't kill him since u are here to save them, this allows u to drag him away from the bomb on table (otherwise u can't move him) Then plant your explosives. if you don't move the guy, he will be killed by your explosives ! and mission failed. Explosives method will attract a lot of attention, thus takedown enemy before u do this, or u will just get busy on this. It won't change the story if you use this method to save hostages since the guy you punch will give some "repay" later on (mention later), u can still talk to him because SWAT will wake him up :) after the mission is finished.
Save them, u are a hero.
OH, after saving them, u can chit chat with the worker sitting next to the table (mentioned before), he will ask u to save his wife (the hostage Zake holds, name Josie). if you save BOTH of them husband and wife, chat with them before heading to Malik, They will say they will repay u. After this if u log onto Jansen's (or YOUR) computer you will see a e-mail from Josie and his husband, inviting u to their house. Then they will introduce you to another weapon dealer other than the 2 guys in the gas station for permanent discount (discount cuts over 50% it is quite amazing).
Enjoy the game, it is really good! Yeah i guess i spoil too much :)Deus ex human Revolution hostage situation?
Theres only one hostage that can be saved and if you follow the x you'll find herDeus ex human Revolution hostage situation?
Actually there are a number of other hostages that you can rescue on that mission. In one of the assembly line rooms (large room with the benches and L-shaped workstations), there is an upper area with only an office in it. This one is just before you enter the hallway with the cameras and two guys in the break-room watching TV. Inside the office will be the hostages, but they will warn you not to enter through the door; the bomb sitting in the middle of them also helps point out that fact. You can choose to go in through the door, but in order to rescue the hostages, you have to enter the room through a different way; there is a vent on the back wall of the office which provides a clue. Back on the other side of the main room is a vent which will eventually lead you to the vent behind the office.

How does the french revolution compare to human nature?
I need to know what i can use in my essay on how to compare the french revolution to Jean-Jacques Rousseau's view of human nature -- he thinks we are born good, and then we eventually become greedy and violent as we age -- I need this ASAP
Deus Ex : Human Revolution best for Buy or Rent ? What is the replay value?
if you like action rpgs, then you will love Deus Ex: human revolution. it has a lot of replay value as your decisions have a lot of effect on the game. so you could in the next play through, make different decisions which will take the story in a different direction. the missions are great, they always give you a choice to go one way or another. the one negative about this game is that the boss fights aren't that good. that is just one little negative. overall though the game is very fun and it has a lot of replay value. you can check out gameplay videos too and see if you like it. another great thing about this game is that you could play with stealth or you could just blast your way through a mission. i would say buy this.Deus Ex : Human Revolution best for Buy or Rent ? Rent it first. It plays like a stealth game (sort of like Metal Gear, but not the same thing). If you like it, then buy it. That's what I always do when I'm not sure about a game. It's a pretty good game once you get into it.

Has the industrial revolution had disastrous consequences for the human race?
The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in "advanced" countries, but they have
destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (in the Third World to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world.
Do you agree with this statement?
.Has the industrial revolution had disastrous consequences for the human race?
Of course not. It was the 'Financial Revolution' that followed. Industry is great...but greed corrupts everything. Industry is perfectly fine with going green as anyone can clearly see, but greedy bastards are obstructing progress because fossil fuels are very profitable, especially when they're allowed to freely manipulate the market.
_
People who make statements like that scare the crap out of me. It implies that drastic measures need to be taken to fix some perceived problem.
It also implies that before the Industrial Revolution that society was stable, life was fulfilling, no humans suffered indignities and there was no widespread psychological suffering. If you believe that then you've never read a history book.
I will concede that we have much more capability to harm the environment though. And I'm for addressing environmental issues but I'm not buying exaggeration of those issues, especially to the point of dismantling society. Frankly, that's ludicrous.
littlerobbergirl, I have no idea what that chap said in that article.Has the industrial revolution had disastrous consequences for the human race?
yes in a way. its a transitional stage, and therefore necessarily not in equilibrium. we need a new revolution, to take us in a new direction towards a truly fair and sustainable life for all.
i quite agree with this chap;
http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20鈥?/a>
Quite right! Back to the 1840s, when even in advanced parts of the world millions could die of famine.
Oh for a fulfilling lifestyle of hard manual labour!Has the industrial revolution had disastrous consequences for the human race?
Yea, there was less angst during the black plague.
This is the same argument made by the Luddites. I guess some things never change.dashi the reckoning

Do Non lethal takedowns count as a kill on Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
I'm guessing that they won't but I just want to make sure so I don't do like 80% of the games then realize I can't get the achievement for not killing anyone but bosses.Do Non lethal takedowns count as a kill on Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
No, non-lethal means they aren't a kill. Though watch how or where you place the bodies then, if they fall too far or end up in water or something, they may die anyways. Plus I've had it where I drag a body around a corner to hide them, then saved and had to reload the game, but he showed up dead, so there seems to be some glitch with bodies at some places..Do Non lethal takedowns count as a kill on Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
No, they don't count as kills, even though an incapacitated enemy will actually stay so unless another enemy wakes them up.

How did the industrial revolution affect human population?
It is clear that the industrial revolution allowed more food to be grown on the same land and so allowed for major population increases.

One factor was clearly the improvement in the knowledge of agriculture:

and the infrastructure (shipping capability) to transport guano to where it was needed:

Do you believe that the French Revolution damaged the human faith in God and Christianity as a whole?
Not a homework question. Just looking for good detailed answers.I have been studying the French Revolution in great detail and I am starting to think it actually worsened humanity- at least in France.Do you believe that the French Revolution damaged the human faith in God and Christianity as a whole?
It did damage it in my opinion. Just look at the Reign of Terror. It amazes me how low humanity sunk during that time period - people just opposed to the revolution were executed. Everything about the Revolution definitely damaged faith in God and Christianity. Why would God let that happen, why would he let all those people die - whether it was a good cause or not.
You back someone far enough in a corner, and they're bound to react. That's what happened in the French Revolution. People were so tired of the monarchy that they decided to take the matter into their own hands. Humanity isn't perfect, that's for sure, but it's human nature to take charge of their goals.Do you believe that the French Revolution damaged the human faith in God and Christianity as a whole?
I would agree, 危伪蟻伪, it worsened humanity. The executions based on uncorroborated testimony, the mass murder of priests and nuns, the endless brutality of the Reign of Terror...why anyone would try to justify it by bringing up previous crimes committed in the name of God is beyond me. That so much of it was done in the name of "reason" underlines an important point. Horrors committed in the name of God or Reason don't impugn either. They only show that humans are capable of terrible evil, regardless of who or what they use to justify it.
But damage faith in God? Quite the opposite. The Committee for Public Safety launched a campaign to exterminate faith in God. Worship was forbidden, all church property was seized, women were beaten on their way to church. It didn't work. Peasants took huge risks to give shelter to hunted priests, even attacked agents of the revolution..and finally, in the region called the Vendee, they revolted. The Committee sent an army, with explicit instructions to exterminate the people of the Vendee. Men, women and children by the hundreds were tied up, towed to the middle of rivers in barges, and sunk. Cannon were loaded with grapeshot to effect mass executions. One General -- Westermann -- bragged in writing about trampling women and children with horses and boasted that there was no one left to kill in the Vendee.
None of it worked. The "Cult of Reason" failed miserably, it's proponents guillotining each other. People fall away when there's nothing at stake, when belief in God has no cost. In France, believers rode out the horrors of anti-religious genocide, helped each other, their faith not only intact, but strengthened by the struggle.Do you believe that the French Revolution damaged the human faith in God and Christianity as a whole?
It's tricky, you have to take the change as a whole and not just focus on the worst excesses. The french were ultimately saved by Napol茅on who's only real fault was too great a desire to spread his saviour status throughout the rest of Europe. But the revolution and the justice that came with it did ultimately spread greater freedoms throughout the world.
After the Crusades, the Inquisition, and people being hanged or burned at the stake for being a witch, by Christians, I don't know how it could get worse.

Deus Ex Human Revolution third person toggle? PC Version?
Is it possible to toggle third person view always on in the PC version of Deus Ex Human Revolution? thanks!Deus Ex Human Revolution third person toggle? PC Version?
Trying to find that out myself. I don't like the first person view myself but unfortunately, i think we're stuck playing in first person. I don't believe there is an option to switch from first to third person.

i can max out crysis 2 but im having issues with deus ex human revolution. Seem like even with the most minimum settings the game stutters and slows down, besides that i have no artifacts on screen. Where can you get ammo from in deus ex human revolution?
Such as places to buy and not pick up in the battlefieldWhere can you get ammo from in deus ex human revolution?
Weapon ammo can be found at different shops around each city Detroit has a shop in the old gas station, also in China there is one in the "love hotel".
That is everywhere i have been so far but you can check out apartments and for loot and other-things.
Also the police station in Detroit has a huge armory which you can sneak into.

I don't think you can buy ammo. I never really noticed since I don't use guns (no-guns and stealth! totally hardcore), but it seems to be the dev's choice to make ammo very scarce.
edit: vvv Seconded, looting around town will get you a lot of ammo anyway.

How is Deus Ex Human Revolution for PS3?
How is the game?
What is it about?
Does it have multiplayer?
IS it worth it?
ThanksHow is Deus Ex Human Revolution for PS3?
The game is great. Kinda like old school splinter cell mixed with an RPG. Its about an ex cop who becomes a security officer for a human augmentation company in the year 2027. Then his girlfriend gets taken. Investigation and other missions ensue. I wont tell you anymore and ruin the story. You can upgrade your abilities since you have augmentations(robotic body parts). You can play stealth, gun your way through or a mix of both. There are multiple paths through each level for each play type. There is no mutliplayer at all. Single player only. It has tons of game play time though. I got the augmented edition for $70 and its well worth every penny. It has lots of replay value. Since you can play through without killing anyone then play through again gunning your way through to get different trophies. Also different characters help or hate you based on how you talk/treat to them. The only cons are long ish load screens and poor voice acting. But the good parts of the game greatly overshadow those flaws. How is Deus Ex Human Revolution for PS3?

Should i buy deus ex human revolution?
I have the money for it and its on sale right now but is it a good game? is it worth the money?Should i buy deus ex human revolution?
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is extreme! The system is very easy to understand, with meaningful options, and you will end up with a character that supports your game play style after only a few missions worth of xp. The Hacking is a neat little sub game that you can easily master and it is so well integrated that you will find yourself looking for things to hack around every turn.
would it be on sale if it was good?its only what one month old?
no its not good, try gears3,tropico4,or rageShould i buy deus ex human revolution?
No don't buy it, and don't buy GOW3 or MW3 either, those games are way too overrated and crappy. Wait for like Skyrim or uncharted 3
someone like Deus Ex but dead island is also popular now,
I do not know which one is better for you,
because it depend on your interesting
but I think you can to buy the code online,
it is cheaper than market,so you can enjoy both of them with little money.

Yes have you seen the reviews plus unlike Cod its not just repeating the same thing every year with slightly better graphics and Deus Ex actually has choices and an awesome story
I would recommend it if you have played any of the older Deus Ex games or Fallout. I bought it when it was on sale and I do not regret it. Also you can take different approaches on how you play the game. You can play it stealthy or run and gun.
no save the money dont waste it on that game buy gears of war 3 or mw3 or just save the moneymediterranean diet recipes google crome

Will Deus Ex Human Revolution have to be installed via Steam?
And if not, then how do I know if I'm buying a non-Steam version? (For example, I bought half life 2 on a dvd from Game, and then I still had to download Steam and create a steam account.)Will Deus Ex Human Revolution have to be installed via Steam?
The reason Half life 2 required Steam was because it was made by Valve, the company that created Steam. All of Valve's games such as L4D, Portal, etc, require Steam as do a few other developers, Tripwire Interactive and Creative Assembly ( there last few titles require you to have Steam). As far as I know these are the only ones. A majority of PC games do not require steam at all.
Now, Deus Ex is not associated with Valve in any way other than being on sale on its client, Steam. Now if you buy Deus Ex on steam then well of course you will need it because you bought it from there. If you buy it from some other digital distributor or buy a retail physical copy, then no you wont need steam. Will Deus Ex Human Revolution have to be installed via Steam?
You will not have to. You had to get steam because steam is made by valve and hl2 is made by valve. That's what they do to get customers on steam :D
You will not because it's not a steam game and does not have multiplayer that uses steamworks for hosting.

Is it true that Deus Ex Human revolution is marred by technical issues?
Not true. For most people it works just fine. A few people have issues, but that's true for just about any game.
Is there a maximum level for Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
Like, after a certain point, do you just stop earning experience points or is it possible to get all the augmentations in one playthrough? Is there a maximum level for Deus Ex: Human Revolution?

How long does it take to beat Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
Thinking about buying itHow long does it take to beat Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
should take at least 20 hours, its a pretty long game. definitely worth the price
That depends a lot on how you play it. You get more experience if you can get through levels without killing anyone - and more, still, if you can get through levels without being seen by anyone - but that takes two, three, ten times as long.
The game is rated "25 hour playtime," but that's just a very, very vague guideline.
It's a great game. Probably the best game I've played this year (although I assume Skyrim will break that record). Buy it.How long does it take to beat Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
as for some of the answer who said he should not buy if he wants to beat it quick, i rarely see anyone asking that questions who doesnt want a long game , new games now aday cost roughly a week of gas so he probably looking to see if it's worth the money
anywhere from about 18 - 30 hours long , it's rpg so u assume the role and do things u dont normally do in hack and slash but if u wanna get it , toysrus have it for $35 for limited time so i honestly think it's worth the money for sure, u can run and gun or stealth and multiple endings so yea , buy it
You shouldn't buy this game if all you'll be thinking about is how fast you can beat it. This is a game that demands you to be thorough. If you're not it will take you that much longer to beat it, but if you are you will enjoy it more and time will fly by.How long does it take to beat Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
It is one of the games that i very like. if you want to beat it you must be one who has mad gaming skills because one small mistake you might restart level.
note:you must be very clever about choosing your ubgrades so take your time.
enjoy it.

How would you explain why the French Revolution was not worth its human costs?
I have to prove why the French Revolution was not worth the human costs. Does anyone have ideas for questions I could ask [a presentation] or how I can explain why it was not?How would you explain why the French Revolution was not worth its human costs?
It's very simple.
It cost a lot, in lives, suffering and of course money, but led to no increase in human happiness.
The cost first. Everyone knows about the guillotine, but not many know that many of those executed were by no means opponents of the revolution. Six of them (to give just one example) were illiterate peasant women visiting Paris who for some obscure reason were arrested and condemned; one of them was actually suckling her baby for the last time in the prison yard before being put into the cart to go to her death. What became of the baby is not recorded.
In addition there were the 'noyades' at Nantes where some two thousand people were murdered by drowning; barges were crammed with them and then sunk. Some of the condemned were further mocked by being stripped naked and lashed face to face in couples, in a so-called 'republican marriage.' Special noyades were organised for the children: in addition, around 100 children were also among the 2,000 or so Vend茅ens massacred in Noirmoutier after surrendering.
The September massacres involved chopping people (political opponents but otherwise innocent of any crime) into pieces, some with swords, some with butchers' cleavers. Some of the details are truly gruesome, especially when involving women (e.g. the Princesse de Lamballes who was totally innocent apart from being a princess) - look up some contemporary accounts by revolutionaries if your stomach is srong enough.
Financial loss was suffered by the working class, who had to endure a week of ten days with only one day off, as opposed to the normal one day off in seven, and the loss of the traditional religious holidays, with no increase in pay. They were near starvation in 1794 when food prices rose sharply, but pay did not. There was galloping inflation throughout the revolutionary period (again no increase in working-class pay). However, their bourgeois leaders (Robespierre et al) did not suffer hunger: they continued to live a comfortable lifestyle with servants to tend them. So that was all right, then.
Politically things went from bad to worse. Any sort of personal liberty was just a memory; they needed an internal passport to travel from one town to another, and these were assiduously checked by the police. The Republican government was quick to declare war: first on Austria and Holland, then a year later on Great Britain, with all the loss of life, limbs, comfort and money that wars usually entail. The Government changed hands often (usually following the guillotining of some of its members). The poor old French ended up with government by junta (La Directoire) then with a military dictator (Bonaparte) and yet more aggressive foreign wars, yet more hundreds of thousands of deaths, which only came to a final end with the crushing defeat in 1815.
A Bourbon king returned - not peaceable, passive old Louis XVI (they had guillotined him) but the aggressive revanchiste Louis XVIII. With him the Revolutionary period was definitely over, but the distresses of France were not - that troubled era left a long shadow right down to the 1WW and arguably beyond.
While I have been typing I have been racking my brains to think of one benefit the Revolution brought. I cannot think of one. It changed a bad political system for one much worse. It cost thousands of lives - millions if you include all the military and civilian deaths in the Revolutionary/Napoleonic wars. It bankrupted France. It abolished the rule of law for years.
As far as I can see, it's no contest. The Revolution was a Bad Thing.

Does Deus ex human revolution contain blood and gore?
Please give serious answers!!!!!
I'm just curious about it cus I want to buy it!Does Deus ex human revolution contain blood and gore?
Light blood and gore. In the first cinematic you do get to see Jensen's guts exposed after he gets tossed through the thick glass. Other cinematics do get kind of bloody, but not as much. Gameplay sequences hardly show any blood and fatal takedowns will show spurts of it (realistic). You wont see an enemy getting his head blown off or an arm flying the opposite direction.

What caused the human Population to suddenly "Industrialise" during the industrial Revolution?
during the industrail revolution, why did the human population suddenly invent new things? a physological change? genetics changes?, but it doesnt make since that for the past 5000 years, we were less industrialized and then we suddently started inventing thingsWhat caused the human Population to suddenly "Industrialise" during the industrial Revolution?
The cause of the IR may have been technological - i.e. an invention like the steam engine that revolutionized labor.
Or it may have been other than technological. That leaves a wider field.
One suggestion I'm rather fond of is that it had to do with a number of factors, all resulting in a population boom. The resulting urbanization (concentration of potential laborers), coinciding with larger markets of consumers, new sources of raw materials, and technologies that made manufacturing and transportation cheaper and faster allowed for the industrial revolution of the 19th century in England, northwestern Europe, and the United States.
So, what caused the demographic boom? Climate change, new "technologies" of crop rotation and substitution, the introduction of the South American potato to Europe, and the diffusion of more types of ploughs all contributed to the demographic explosion of Europe in the Early Modern Period.
Sounds about as busy as this Brueghel painting! http://www.fineart-china.com/admin/image鈥?/a>What caused the human Population to suddenly "Industrialise" during the industrial Revolution?
Look through history and you will see inventions that cause a quantum leap in the way we live.
The Industrial Revolution can largely be traced to the invention of the steam engine and mechanisation in general.
At the dawn of civilisation, it was agriculture that was manily responsible.
In our own time, the invention of the telephone and the computer has lead to an explosion in growth. What caused the human Population to suddenly "Industrialise" during the industrial Revolution?
I think it had to do with religion and politics. More progressive regions developed faster than those areas hanging on to the "old ways" and old beliefs. Progressive countries had more resources and more freedoms.
I think staisil is right--curiosity was unleashed and nurtured.
The massive progress and technological change was made possible by the decline in the power of the church, and the rise in the power of nation states. Add to this the fact that the Renaissance and the Reformation had made it okay to question the world--and how it works--again, and you have that incredibly clever species--human beings--doing what we do best: invent stuff. The mind was freed to think in other ways...therefore you get the Age of Revolutions (political and social) and the Scientific Revolution (technology).
So I think the basic answer is that people were allowed--and even encouraged--to be curious and inventive again. The power of nation states provided the funding (and the impetus) to develop new technologies.

Do we need a radical revolution in human mind?
We were saying, how very important it is. to bring about in the human mind.
The radical revolution, the crises, is a crises in consciousness, a crisis that cannot anymore accept the old norms, the old patterns, the ancient traditions and considering what the world is now, with all the misery, conflict, destructive brutality, aggression and so on. Men is still as he was, he's still brutal, violent, aggressive, acquisitive, competitive and he's built a society along these lines....Do we need a radical revolution in human mind?
Man is built to be agressive and competitive. Always have been and always will be.
I will say that we are in a crisis. The skepticism of these posts might be a symptom of it. The crisis is that if we continue as is without moral and ethical growth to catching up with technological advancement we run a high risk of destroying ourselves. When man chooses to end brutality, it will...
It's mis-guided to think we NEED something that is unrealistic. We can't rebuild how our brains work.
BTW, it's simply not true that we're more brutal and destructive now than before, we're actually LESS so (we hear about such things now all the time because we're so numerous and because we have instant communication all over the world).
You seem to think that humans are ONLY all those negative things, and that ALL humans are. Humans are also compassionate, fair, kind, and generous.
So basically, it's a crisis because some men display male traits? And no argument in support to why this is a crisis or why some radical revolution may be needed? Ridiculous, and poor spelling to boot.Do we need a radical revolution in human mind?
New, challenging philosophical ideas (that actually make sense) are welcome, but I doubt your question was about that. Actually, I failed to understand what it is about. Please be clearer next time.
no, they do not need that.
you need to move out of the under-developed area that you live in, or start watching some other news besides the local crime watch.

Why does Deus Ex: Human Revolution act like a third person games when it is first?
Yeah, so I was playing it and realised that alot of the stuff you do and the fact you see him during conversations and cut scenes makes me wonder why they didn't just make it third person, I don't like first person games but was willing to give it a shot and thats when I realised it really does feel more like it should be third person. Why does Deus Ex: Human Revolution act like a third person games when it is first?

There is an achievement for doing so. It's not easy though but it's possible.

Where is the hidey hole in my apartment in Deus ex:human revolution?
my email suggested that their was a hidden compartment in my apartment somewhere, and also the janitor outside my room said something about there being a space behind the television, but i have looked all over the room and dont see a way to acess the "hidey-hole". where is it?Where is the hidey hole in my apartment in Deus ex:human revolution?
Check an online guide.Where is the hidey hole in my apartment in Deus ex:human revolution?
The janitor is correct. There is a hollowed space behind your large TV which houses a significant cache of items. Included is a armor pricing rounds mod.
To access this, when you enter your apartment, use the security terminal placed on the right column of the wooden entryway to your living room. It is directly past the kitchen entryway which is also to the right. The password is 5375 (found on your home computer). However, hacking the terminal will yield EXP. Seeing as how it is only Security Level 1, it is always good to get extra EXP.Where is the hidey hole in my apartment in Deus ex:human revolution?
Same question! I've been reading walkthroughs and guides for this all afternoon. lol
By the stairs leading to the door and kitchen on the wall to the right is a little thing like the hacking keypad things. activate it and you'll know where it is.

Actually both are a great games, but here is details about both to see which one you like better :)
Deus ex HM is a shooter that has plenty of freeroam, but you have to be interested in the story and learning new ways to get past objectives so it might get boring to you if you just like being "gung ho" and i have no problem with that, but sometimes it might be better if you go stealthy in some situations :)
Skyrim also has plenty of freeroam, but it is way different it has plenty of customization options and choices of weapons and armor. It will also get you addicted XD
If i were you i would just by Deas Ex HM used or skyrim at gamestop to see it if you like it?

You'll spend far more time with MVC3 that DXHR, if for just how much you can replay it. DXHR, you play a couple of times, get all the endings, maybe a different difficulty level, shelve, move on.

Should I get Infamous 2 or Deus Ex Human Revolution?
I loved the first Infamous but I haven't played any Deus Ex game. Deus Ex looks good, but I wouldn't know the story or anything. I usually like to play third person shooters and Rpg games. Is there another game you can recommend? Deus Ex or Infamous 2?Should I get Infamous 2 or Deus Ex Human Revolution?
i have Deus Ex human revolution and Infamous 1 and 2, and i would get infamous 2. the story line is amazing and you will love the ending and all around gameplay. Deus ex is a more strategic game where you might get a little bit frustrated, but is also rewarding.
Personally i would get infamous 2 because its amazing, but if you're more into stealth/shooter game than storyline, and sandbox, i would take Deus Ex.
I think you'll get more out of DE:HR, since there are so many ways to play the game so it should give you over 100 hours of play time.
with InFamous 2 you can only play twice for the game to be a little different (Karma wise) and once you beat the game with both karma's you will lose the will to even play the game (like I did) I platinumed the game in 13 days (if I had NOTHING else to do, I would have gotten it much sooner).
so go get DE:HRShould I get Infamous 2 or Deus Ex Human Revolution?
Deus Ex Human Revolution is better, I guess.
it's really cool, go through the srories and you'll know it..what attracts me most is its free options..you can choose a lot and directs to different results..
If u want you can get both those games because i have played them and they both are cool but if you only have money to buy one you should get Infamous 2.Should I get Infamous 2 or Deus Ex Human Revolution?
Infamous 2 is an awesome game hands down son

How 'well' can my laptop run deus ex human revolution?
I'm not sure whether i should buy it for Ps3 or my PC 2.1ghz i3 (2nd gen) Intel HD graphics card 4 gb ram, or my other laptop which is 2.3ghz dual core but dedicated ati radeon 512mb and 4gb ram. Any advice? what can run it best? i'm guessing the ps3 but the pc is quite a bit cheaper. How 'well' can my laptop run deus ex human revolution?
Your PC looks like it should be able to handle it on... low-medium, I'd say. Probably low, however. It's your choice. Both will be able to handle the game, but, in my experience with the game, (Which, by the way, is F%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; AMAZING!) the PC version is the superior. How 'well' can my laptop run deus ex human revolution?
hmmm ps3, cuz your processor is too slow on both your computers.
