Why was the French Revolution worth its human costs?

Can someone give me at least 3 or 4 reasons the French Revolution was worth the cost in human lives? In my personal opinion it wasn't, but I was assigned to the affirmative so its a bit difficult for me to think of any reasons... :( Thank you!Why was the French Revolution worth its human costs?
1. It set the stage for future revolutions

2. It allow france to become a major and wealthy european power

3. It disstabilized the power of monarchs in europe

4. It move to europe into the modern age
